The U.S. Open Food Tasting Preview
2013

For the third year in a row, eateryROW was invited to Arthur Ashe Stadium to sample some of the food that those enjoying this year's US Open will be able to enjoy. Chefs like Masaharu Morimoto and David Burke, as well as restaurants like Hill Country Barbecue, Wine Bar Food, East gate Grill, and Fresca Mexicana supplied the food and talent to make the day. Grey Goose and Moet supplied the libations.

The food, as expected, was fantastic. David Burke's bone-in rib-eye steak melted in your mouth, Hill Country's Maker's Mark Pecan Pie was amazing, and the East Gate Grill's Pat LaFreida steak sandwich might have been the best sandwich I've had this year. All in all, the menu at this year's US Open is shaping up to be a good one. I genuinely couldn't care less about tennis and yet I'm envious of everyone lucky enough to score tickets this year.
